Canon
When Taylor joins the Undersiders, Brian is more or less the leader of the group. Taylor and Brian find common ground training together. After Taylor becomes leader of the Undersiders and numerous other shakeups, they start dating. Taylor breaks up with Brian
Fandom
The canon relationship was met with mixed reactions among fans. Some liked the portrayal of an awkward, rocky teenage relationship; others felt it was unrealistic, and that Taylor was being written as a lesbian shoe-horned into a het romance.
Taylor/Brian still isn't a major pairing in the fandom, but it seems to have gotten more fanart and discussion in recent years.
