Faruzan is a 4 star anemo support from Sumeru. She is a renowned professor in the Akademiya who specializes in machinery despite currently studying in Haravatat, the study of semiotics.

Canon

100 years before the beginning of the game, Faruzan was trapped in the ruins of what was Deshret’s kingdom. In the entire time she was trapped inside, she never aged as she tried to solve the puzzle in the ruins in order to escape. Once she finally did, 100 years have since passed, and everyone she knew are long gone. Because she is technically older than most due to this, she has taken to tell people to call her "Madame Faruzan" despite her still youthful appearance.

Fandom

Faruzan is well liked by Xiao fans as she is a good support for him.

Fans affectionately call her Hatsune Miku due to her resemblance to her.

Shipping

Faruzan isn’t popular when it comes to shipping. Her most popular ship, FaruScara, where she is shipped with fellow anemo user Scaramouche, only has 15 works in Archive of our Own as of November 2023 and is considered a rarepair.
