Despoiling Harry is a personal fanfiction site with Harry Potter slash stories and recommendations. It was listed as a Harry Potter slash author page at Veela Inc.[1]

Categorizing my stories confounds me. There's het in my slash, parody in my angst, dark stories have fluffy sequels, etc. So you'll find a list of category descriptions by each, and you'll find the pairings as well. Please note that character pairings are not always romantic pairings-- since most of this is smut, it may translate as "who has sex with whom." And yes, some of it is quite, quite non-consensual, and directed at those who like that sort of erotica. If that disturbs you look for the non-con description and give those a miss, please.

The last update was in 2008 but the site is still online in 2021.

Screencaps

Fanfiction

You Didn't Think They Just Sold It To Him, Did You? (NC-17) (~7,500 words) Pairing: Weasley Twins/Draco Summary: From HBP Chapter 29: "...the moment he saw us he threw something into the air and it all went pitch-black -" "- Peruvian Instant Darkness Powder," said Ron bitterly. "Fred and George's. I'm going to be having a word with them about who they let buy their products." Author's Comment: Written for the 2007 Merry Smutmas gift fest for ships_harry. Nasty non-con/dub con (the way I like it too).

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: One Fan's Screenplay (PG-13 for violence) (~25,000 words) Pairing: Shockingly canon-compliant. Summary: Unauthorized screenplay adaptation of Half-Blood Prince. Author's Comment: The way I'd do it.

Even Closer To Me (NC-17, Angst) (~2,200 words) Pairing: Harry/Sirius. Summary: "I dropped it in the Forest," he lies. Author's Comment: First post-DH fic. And yes, it's canon-compliant.

(--Stories above this line were written after the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows--)

And Me? (G, Schmoop) (~500 words) Pairing: Harry/Snape Summary: So very, very G-rated. There is a puppy. Author's Comment: mayflo and littleroo27 put up this picture of Snape and Harry at Christmas that had me nearly crying, it was so sad. (Premenstrual. Must be.) And I was going to stay sad unless I wrote the sequel to that picture.

Act of Faith (Soft NC-17, Drama/AU/Horror) (~5,000 words) Pairing: AU versions of Harry/Snape; implied past Harry/Hermione Summary: In 1492, Spain launched something far more shameful than just one misdirected Genoan and his three ships. And only those of pure blood were safe. And in truth, not even them. Author's Comment: Written for the snarry_games Winter 2007 Games, Team Wartime, Prompt: Inquisition, Genres: Alternate Universe, Horror. The influence of style from Samuel Shellabarger, particularly his Captain From Castile, will be obvious to those who know that text.

Voldemort-centric Maxi-drabble (PG, Drama) (~220 words) Pairing: None specified Summary: The price of fondness. Author's Comment: Born of a prompt on hpshortfics, using song lyrics. A ficlet. Maxidrabble. Something. PG, Voldemort-centric. Prompt by : "someday somebody's gonna ask you a question that you should say yes to once in your life"

She Moved Through the Fair (PG, Drama) (~850 words) Pairing: Lucius/Draco Summary: Such tragic stories surround the senior Malfoy and his son. Author's Comment: Fourth in my Ballads series. Inspired by the Irish Folk Ballad of the same name, which is downright spooky if you pay attention to the lyrics. Lyrics can be found here.

No Real Risk (PG, Implied non-con) (~850 words) Pairing: Harry/Lucius Summary: Harry goes to confront his demons. He's not ready. Author's Comment: Written for beloved_enemies' (the lj community) inaugural Dictionary Drabbles challenge (though a little late and a bit over the word count).

Huntsman's Compromise (NC-17, Non-con) (~400 words) Pairing: Harry/Lucius Summary: Lucius works over his plaything. Author's Comment: I hadn't planned to do anything for Valentine's Day--sentimental blah blah--but I looked about at other's posts for the day and decided I couldn't leave that sea of fluff be. So here's some non-con to commemorate the day! ^_^

Author's Comment: Written for the 2006 Merry Smutmas exchange for ginny___weasley. Femmeslash for someone who said "consensual smut just doesn't sit well with her," which I thought was delightful.

The (Happy) Half-Blood Prince (PG, Drama/Angst, Hurt/Comfort) (~12,000 words) Pairing: Harry/Snape Summary: A heart made of lead, and a Swallow longing for lotus-flowers, and no Mystery so great as Misery. Author's Comment: Written for the hp_fairytales fest. An HP take on Oscar Wilde's The Happy Prince.

Sovay (R, Drama/Angst) (~2,000 words) Pairing: Snape/Dumbledore Summary: "I only did it for to know/ If you would be a man or no." Author's Comment: A pastiche of the ballad Sovay. This marks the third ballad I've made into an HP story, so, yay, I can call it a series!

Hero Worship (NC-17, PWP, Dub-con) (~2,200 words) Pairings: Harry/Creevey Brothers Summary: Colin and Dennis really love Harry. Really love him. Isn't that enough? Author's Comment: Written for the 2006 Pornish Pixies Fantasy Fest, #3 of 3, for silvernighttwin. This sort of dubious consent really gets to me, so I was glad to write it in fanfiction form for silvernighttwin's request.

Scrimgeour's Man (NC-17, PWP, Dub-con) (~4,000 words) Pairings: Harry/Scrimgeour Summary: The Minister takes advantage of a desperate petitioner. Author's Comment: Written for the 2006 Pornish Pixies Fantasy Fest, #2 of 3, for a_brighter_dawn. Pairings: Harry/Snape Summary: Snape and Harry have a D/s relationship, and no one else knows. Author's Comment: The title's a bit of a pun, as it was the last one I wrote for the Pornish Pixies Fantasy Fest. But it also makes sense with the story.

All For a Good Cause (NC-17, PWP, chan, AU) (~1,400 words) Written for the 2004 Pornish Pixies Fantasy Fest, #13 of 14, for biichan. Pairings: Harry/Moody Summary: Moody takes advantage of young Harry, but it's all in the name of Constant Vigilance. Author's Comment: Shameful, I know.

Pairings: Luna/Cho Summary: Luna disciplines Cho, who's so pretty when she takes it. Author's Comment: More femmeslash in a dubious consent/non-con flavor. Yes, that makes me happy.

Beware of Brat (NC-17, PWP, Kink) (~3,300 words) Written for the 2004 Pornish Pixies Fantasy Fest, #11 of 14, for beizy. Pairings: Harry/Padfoot Summary: Harry gets an eyeful. And blunders his way to even more. Author's Comment: The Potterverse needs more bestiality kink. Shame on me for not contributing more.

Detention Served (NC-17, Non-con, Chan) (~3,000 words) Written for the 2004 Pornish Pixies Fantasy Fest, #10 of 14, for vileseagulls. Pairings: Harry/Snape Summary: Snape's not above abusing his power when it comes to his students--particularly his most detested. Author's Comment: Harry/Snape doesn't have to be a difficult pairing--when it's this particular flavor, anyway.

In Spite (NC-17, Drama) (~2,000 words) Written for the 2004 Pornish Pixies Fantasy Fest, #9 of 14, for jadeprince. Pairings: Snape/Lupin Summary: Snape isn't any good at the hurt/comfort thing. In fact, he's an ass. Author's Comment: I don't write much of this pairing, but the challenge summary was just too good to pass up.

Their Worse Than Killing Lust (Sequel to The Dragon and His Wrath) (NC-17, Non-con, Kink, PWP) (~2000 words) Written for the 2004 Pornish Pixies Fantasy Fest, #8 of 14, for loony_moony. The Dragon and His Wrath (NC-17, Non-con, Kink, PWP) (~3000 words) Written for the 2004 Pornish Pixies Fantasy Fest, #7 of 14, for cellia. Pairings: Harry/Lucius (implied Harry/Draco) Summary: Lucius has Harry in his dungeons. Learning From Orpheus (NC-17, Drama) (~5,100 words) Written for the 2004 Pornish Pixies Fantasy Fest, #5 of 14, for suyari. Pairings: Harry/Sirius/Remus/James Summary: Harry goes back to make things right. He gets distracted. Author's Comment: Another improbable story. Not so much for the time travel as the sex, heh.

For Your Own Good (NC-17, PWP, Kink) (~4,000 words) Written for the 2004 Pornish Pixies Fantasy Fest, #4 of 14, for frau_r. Pairings: Harry/Draco Summary: Draco gets a spanking. After all, he deserves it. Author's Comment: I wish all spanking erotica was done to this degree of detail, I confess.

Measureless to Man (NC-17, Drama) (~4,400 words) Written for the 2004 Pornish Pixies Fantasy Fest, #3 of 14, for lythian. Pairings: Lily/Narcissa Summary: Pregnant Lily gets advice from new mother Narcissa. Author's Comment: This is my first full-length femmeslash in the Potterverse. It's a "dubious consent" fic, which is the way I like my femmeslash--that or out-and-out non-con.

The Many Charms About You (NC-17, Non-con) (~4,000 words) Written for the 2004 Pornish Pixies Fantasy Fest, #2 of 14, for gmth. Pairings: Harry/Fred/George Summary: A potion goes wrong. Harry's on the receiving end. And he's in trouble. Author's Comment: I love this kind of non-con. The aggressors aren't really even aware that what they're doing is wrong, and keep finding internal justifications for everything they're doing.

In Between (NC-17, Drama) (~5,000 words) Written for the 2004 Pornish Pixies Fantasy Fest, #1 of 14, for maeglinyedi. Pairings: Harry/Sirius/Remus Summary: Harry's jealous of both Sirius and Remus. He wants in. Author's Comment: Yeah, so, this'll never happen. Pity.

Raggle Taggle Gypsy (NC-17, Drama/Angst) (~1,000 words) Parings: Harry/Sirius Author's Comment: This is as close as I come to songfic. First of my Ballads pastiche fics.

The Sea and the Shore (R, Drama/Angst) (~4,200 words) Pairings: Harry/Draco (primarily) Summary: A Potterverse retelling of Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid. Author's Comment: I love this fairy tale, love retelling fairy tales, and wanted something that would pay tribute to the different versions of this that exist, while staying true to the original.

Blood For a Parched Tongue (NC-17, Non-con, Kink) (~7,000 words) Pairings: Snape/Black Summary: Snape makes an opportunity for revenge. Author's Comment: Written for the Vocabulary Smut Challenge and purposely crafted to be as crudely filthy as I could make it.

Kingdom of Sweets (Soft NC-17, Non-con humiliation kink) (~600 words) Parings: Harry/Lucius, Harry/Snape Author's Comment: Kink, pink, tulle, and tears, in a few hundred words. Written as a thank-you for Gina for the Merry Smutmas community.

The Measure of Your Worth (NC-17, Drama/Angst) (~5,200 words) Pairings: Harry/Sirius Summary: Even when you get the thing you most want, there's still a denouement to your story. Author's Comment: Written for the Merry Smutmas secret Santa smutty fic exchange for Nutmeg.

God Slash Us, Everyone (NC-17, Parody, Multiple Kinks) (~8,400 words) Pairings: Harry/Snape, Harry/Lucius, Harry/Sirius Summary: Harry has three visitations on Christmas Eve. Loose parody of A Christmas Carol. Don't look for anything too serious here; it's all about the smut. Author's Comment: Written for the Merry Smutmas secret Santa smutty fic exchange for Nimori.

Fifty-three Stories About Snape and Black (R, Humor, Parody) (~3,200 words) Pairings: Snape/Black Summary: A parody written for the Intimate Enemies (Snape/Black) FQF, consisting of all 53 challenges, answered.

What Didn't Happen (NC-17, PWP) (~500 words) Parings: Snape/Lupin with a side order of Harry Author's Comment: For the Pornish Pixies Come Shot challenge. I had given up, until I saw this Merry Smutmas picture and wrote this in about half an hour.

Short Stories (R, Dark) (500 words) Parings: Harry/Lucius Author's Comment: From a Dictionary Drabble challenge on Beloved Enemies. The word was florilegium: a collection of excerpts; an anthology of short pieces.

Any Excuse for Smut (NC-17, PWP) (~1800 words) Parings: Harry/Padfoot-Sirius Author's Comment: A bit of Harry/Padfoot fetish.

And Just Plain Wrong (NC-17, Dark, Non-con) (~20,400 words) Pairings: Draco/Harry, Lucius/Harry, Snape/Voldemort/Harry, lots of other evil goings-on Summary: Voldemort has won, and Hogwarts is the Death Eaters' twisted playground. Author's Comment: I've wanted to do the "Twisted Hogwarts" evilfic for some time. Yeah, this one's nasty.

A Moment In Correspondence (Soft R, Angst) (500 words) Parings: Harry/Sirius Author's Comment: 500-word drabble based on the word "bereave." Catharsis is a good thing.

(--Stories above this line were written after the release of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix--)

A Little Touch Of Harry In the Night (NC-17, Drama, AU) (~17,500 words) Pairings: Harry/Ron/Hermione, Harry/Colin, Harry/Snape, Harry/Draco (plus a bit of Slytherin debauchery) Summary: A Potterverse take on Shakespeare's Henry V with an AU Harry who's not really as nice as we remember him. Bit of a bastard, actually. That's okay; I got to write more sex that way. Shakespeare purists will just freak. Author's Comment: Trust me, if you haven't seen Henry V, you can still enjoy this as an AU story. It's just more fun if you do know the play. (Go rent the Branagh version-- don't go running for the text! Shakespeare was meant to be watched, not read!)

Fait Accompli (sequel to Droit Du Seigneur) (NC-17, Angst, Romance) (~9,100 words) Pairings: Harry/Draco Summary: Harry and Draco have dealt with some of the consequences of their wedding night. Now they deal with more. Author's comment: Don't be put off by the last line of Droit Du Seigneur if that sort of thing isn't for you-- this story does not deal with it in any graphic way, I promise.

When Harry Met Sevvie (R, Romance) (~100 words) Author's comment: Drabblefic written for Cybele. Turned out it's one of her favorite films and I didn't even know!

Droit Du Seigneur (NC-17, Non-con) (~17,500 words) Pairings: Harry/Lucius, implied Harry/Draco Summary: Harry and Draco's wedding day. The wedding night....will not be what they anticipated. Author's comment: I love any excuse to write EvilBastard!Lucius/Doesn'tKnowWhat'sComing!Harry. Sigh.

No Happy Memories (NC-17, Angst) (~6,000 words) Pairings: Harry/Sirius Summary: Can you get it all said and done in the last 24 hours of your life? Author's comment: I keep saying, "Blame Nimori for giving me this terribly angsty challenge," but the truth is, I thank her for doing so. Otherwise I don't think I would have dared, and I'm glad I got to write it.

Ten Zillion Points From Gryffindor (NC17, Humor) (~4,800 words) Pairings: Harry/Snape Summary: Revenge on Snape appears to have been unwarranted. Harry takes advantage of the situation anyway. Author's comment: It would appear I am not capable of writing a completely consensual Harry/Snape, ever. Well, that's fine-- so many other people do it so well, why should I worry!

What Do You Get For the Death Eater Who Has Everything? (NC17, Non-con, PWP) (~6,200 words) Pairings: Harry/Lucius, implied Harry/Draco Summary: Happy Birthday, Lucius Malfoy. Author's comment: Ah, Harry at an elegant villain's mercy. I could write a million of these. I love them so.

As Sharp As Sunlight (NC-17, Angst, Non-con, Mpreg) (~16,700 words) Pairings: Sirius/Snape, Harry/Lucius, Draco/Hermione (implied Sirius/Remus) Summary: A squicky fate awaits our fallen heroes. Can anything be saved? Author's comment: I still can't believe that this lurid ooh-this-could-be-SO-dirty challenge turned into this serious story. I'm still reeling over that.

Duhnuhnuhnuhnuhnuhnuhnuh-- WHO? (R, Parody) (~1,700 words) Pairings: Harry/Snape, Harry/Draco, Draco/Snape Author's comment: They made me write a Batman parody. Oh, my god. I still call this one my "Bastard child" fic, because I just couldn't make it pornographic enough! This is not the sort of thing I choose to write, but I was given the challenge for a fest and felt I had to prove I could.

Unforgotten (Hard R/Soft NC-17, Angst) (~500 words) Pairings: Harry/Lucius Author's comment: 500+ word angsty drabble based on the word "Oubliette." After a number of these had been done on the Harry/Lucius group, I came up with this twist.

A Spell To Turn Tigers To Butter (NC-17, Dark, Non-con, Humor) (~9,200 words) Pairings: Harry/Lucius, Harry/Snape Summary: In a tale told through the eyes of his enemies, Harry remains resourceful even in the most dreadful circumstances. Author's comment: One of those stories that wrote itself completely. I looked at the challenge and whoomp.

One Piece Of Parchment (NC-17, Horror, Violence, Non-con, Romance) (~5,000 words) Pairings: Harry/Voldemort, Harry/Draco Summary: An utterly manipulative contrivance. A challenge coming straight from Harry. Author's comment: I just couldn't help it. This is about as shamelessly bad (in both senses of the word) as it could get, and quite deliberately so. I admit it's in response both to some of those annoyingly elaborate plot challenges that get put out there sometimes-- my way of saying, "All right, tell me if you could resist THIS!"-- and to my own moments of melancholy as to just how BAD we can be to these characters sometimes.

Round Up (NC-17, Parody, Dark) (~1,500 words) Pairings: Harry/Lucius Author's Comment: The most compelling story idea I've ever had-- conceived it and wrote it in two hours of giggling frenzy. If you don't get it, email me and I'll tell you what movie to rent and watch. (And if you DO get it, email me and tell me when you figured it out-- I love that!)

A World Not So Black Nor White (NC-17, Angst, Romance, Dark) (~30,000 words) Pairings: Harry/Lucius (abusive Harry/Sirius) Summary: Once fallen into the Pit, even the strongest of us can't crawl out by ourselves. Something-- or someone-- has to lift us out. Author's comment: It shouldn't be easy to get Harry and Lucius together in a romantic situation. It shouldn't be. I'm really happy with this story.

Love's Appalling Adverbs (NC-17, Humor, (Bad!) Romance) (~9,000 words) Pairings: Hermione/Snape Summary: Hermione learns two things: a secret about Snape, and that she's a terrible writer. Author's comment: I just didn't see any other way for me to write Snape/Hermione except like this!

Rituals and Traditions (NC-17, Humor) (~6,800 words) Pairings: Harry/Draco Draco shackled to a pillar. Harry wielding a sword. One goofy plot device. You do the math. Author's comment: I didn't think I would ever write sex magick... and then, this. If I ever do meet the Harry from one of my own stories, by the way, I want it to be this one.

The Worst Happiest Day of His Life (Hard R/Soft NC-17, Humor) (~4,700 words) Pairings: Harry/Draco Summary: "We have to WHAT?" Author's comment: What can I say, I love weddings. And over-the-top humor.

Waking In Light (NC-17, Angst, Hurt/Comfort) (~7,500 words) Pairings: Harry/Draco Summary: Draco saves Harry saves Draco saves Harry. (thanks to Bonibaru for that summary!) Author's comment: My first romantic Harry/Draco. Schmoopy and serious.

Because Of Who You Are (NC-17, Romance, Fluff, PWP) (~8,000 words) Pairings: Harry/Hermione Summary: Written because I fell in love with Cassandra Claire's Draco Dormiens. I wanted to see Harry and Hermione's first time, so I wrote it. Author's comment: And Cassie said she liked it! Yay!

Other Chambers, Darker Secrets (NC-17, Non-con, Dark) (~35,000 words) Pairings: Harry/Lucius, Harry/Snape, Ron/Snape, Draco/Hermione Summary: It sucks being the good guys sometimes. Posturing villains with bad intentions, shadowy wild cards with their own agendas, heroes who would do anything to save each other. Author's comment: The first, longest, and one of the nastiest pieces I've written for the HP universe. Proceed with caution. No memory charms or twist endings here, guys.

The fanfic recommendations are mostly slash.

I write, and have a great preference to read, erotica. Many of the following HP fanfiction recommendations are stories that I'd classify as erotica, though not all, by any means. It's not enough for them just to get an NC-17 rating! And erotica isn't limited to just Plot-What-Plot. In my book, the story is erotica if 1) the story was clearly written for the sex, 2) the sex is told so descriptively that it is intended to arouse (assuming you like that sort of thing), and 3) either the proportion of sex scenes in the story is significant or the attention the sex scenes seem to get is. And yes, erotica can be dark, and it can be funny.

Those stories I consider erotica are so labeled. But that's my personal label and the authors might disagree! Nor does that imply that the other stories aren't sexy; many of them are very arousing even if not explicitly erotica.

Once again I have resisted the inclusion of Works In Progress.
