Stiletto Princess is the personal slash fanfiction site of LaT and part of MRKS.org. It started as Chez Lat later changing in August 2004 to its current name.

Welcome to Stiletto Princess, home of the slashy literary exploits I've devised for my favorite fictional characters. Chief among them are Constable Benton Fraser, RCMP, and Detective First Grade Stanley Raymond (Ray) Kowalski, Chicago PD. Fraser and Kowalski, in case you're not of the clued-in, are the leading characters on dueSOUTH, one of the best television series of the 1990s (in my humble opinion). You'll also find stories and other fictional odds and ends for some of the additional fandoms (Andromeda, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Pirates of the Caribbean and Smallville) that I follow. Click on the High Heels button to get to the index for my fiction. Click on the button for Ankle Straps if you want to see who I read when I'm not writing, or you're at all interested in any of the fannish things I think about when I'm not thinking or writing about my fandom du jour.

This site features stories and story snippets of a mature nature. If you are under the age of 17, you need to hit the "back" button on your web browser and go play in another sandbox. If you're over 17, but the idea of two fictional characters - including those of the same gender - involved in romantic and/or sexual interactions with one another is problematic for you, then you, too, should utilize the "back" button on the web browser and find something less problematic to read. Sending me e-mail telling me what a pervert or degenerate I am after I warned you not to read this stuff if it wasn't your cup of Joe is likely to get you laughed at. A lot.

By April 22, 2008, the site was closed with the following note:

Closure note
Welcome to Stiletto Princess, the long-time home of fanfiction by LaT. As they say, all good things must come to an end, and so it is with this website. I've moved on from writing fanfiction -- although I still participate in fandom -- and, quite frankly, I haven't updated or maintained this site in over three years. It was a tremendous amount of fun when I was really into it, and I deeply appreciate each and every person who's supported my writing over the fannish years.

Thanks to the glory of the Internets, my stories aren't completely lost. My due South fanfiction can be found at the due South Fiction Archive. My Smallville fiction can be found at the Level Three Records Room, the Smallville Slash Archive, and Wild Coyote: The Smallville Het Archive.

If you need to get in touch with me for any reason that isn't asking me to put the site back up, you can always e-mail me.

It's been real and it's been fun, but most of all, it's been real fun. Thanks for sharing the ride with me.

Links & Kinks

These are links to sites that I visit on a regular basis.* For any authors listed here, assume an implicit recommendation that they are worth your time and attention. I considered indicating which fandoms went with which authors, but a) I'm feeling lazy, and b) you know how to use the back button on your browser if the offerings on someone's page don't turn your crank.

Fanfiction Archives

due Slash: If you just like your dS fiction slashy, then this is the place for you. It's got a great picture gallery, too.

due South Fiction Archive: Something like 2,500+ stories. Just about every pairing you can think of, and every genre, too. Gen, het, and slash. An essential link for the dS fan.

Fan Fiction Directory: An astonishingly comprehensive list of links to fanfiction for, geez, a lot of stuff. Take a look. You'll see what I mean.

The old KSAres Fiction Archive and new KSAres Fiction Archive : Great clearinghouses for fanfiction based on the Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess universes, especially if you've got a thing for that foxy God of War, Ares and/or his doppleganger, Iphicles, King of Corinth.

Hard Core Logo Fiction Archive: Hard Core Logo. Just a little fun with Joe and Billy, organized a couple of different ways to make finding things easier. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it took me forever to appreciate the movie and therefore to appreciate the fiction. But I'm there now, so just, you know, don't give me any grief and go read.

Level Three Records Room: Your one-stop shopping for any and all kinds of Smallville fanfiction. Gen, het, slash - you name it and you can find it here. A great companion to the Smallville Slash Archive.

Unconventional Relationshippers: Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel the Series. Every pairing imaginable. Gen, het, and slash.

Down in the Basement: X-Files. As Shrift put it, "leading you anywhere you might want to go." Gen, het, and slash, it's pretty much going to have you covered.

The Smallville Slash Archive: If you've been paying any attention at all to me the past couple of months, you'll know Smallville is the newest branch of my expansion to multi-fan. SSA is easily searchable and easily loadable in terms of posting fiction there. It's all slash, all the time, all pairings, although I go there to get my Clark/Lex fix. A nice companion to Level Three.

Other Fun, Fannish Places to Visit

The Callum Keith Rennie Experience: Lots of goodies, including sounds, a gallery, and a fairly extensive section devoted to CKR's screen credits. Check out the polls while you're there.

PG-L Paul Gross Website: Whatever you want to know about what Paul Gross is up to right now or has ever been up to professionally, this is the place to go to find out. Pretty groovy gallery, too.

michaelrosenbaum.com: An exceptionally comprehensive website for the actor who plays Lex Luthor on Smallville. I, uh, spend a lot of time in the picture gallery.

Tom Welling: Superstar: An exceptionally comprehensive website for the actor who plays Clark Kent on Smallville. I, uh, spend a lot of time in the picture gallery.

Kryptonsite: The name should make it obvious where the focus lies, but just in case, this is a really fun, comprehensive site related to all things Smallville and many things Superman. Episode guides, photo galleries, polls, reviews and even spoilers for upcoming SV episodes. An essential link for fans of the show overall.

Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda: The official site, it's best used to see the schedule of upcoming episodes, as well as to cull the deeply cool quotes that open each episode. For the actual dish, go to ...

... SlipStream Dreams: One of the best fan-run Andromeda sites out there. The episode recaps are sharp and snarky, the character analyses smart and insightful, and they have a running ticker of all the latest news and credible gossip about upcoming events and the show itself. An essential link for Andromeda fans.

SlashCity: All slash. All the time. What's not to like?

The Spark.com: This site has nothing to do with fandom, but it's a hell of a lot of fun. Use any of its numerous and hilarious tests to find out how slutty, stupid, gay, bitchy or pure -- among other things -- you are. The Spark.com can even give you an idea of when you're going to die. I recommend not visiting while you're at work, though, just because it's hugely distracting.
