Toko Fukawa is a prominent and popular character in the Dangan Ronpa series. She debuted in Dangan Ronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and is also a main character in Dangan Ronpa 3: End of Hope's Peak High School and Dangan Ronpa AE: Ultra Despair Girls.
Fukawa is plural and has one alter, Genocider Syo, a serial killer.

- Toko Fukawa Isn't Obsessed With Byakuya Togami: usually seen as a fix-it, as Fukawa's canonical one-sided crush on Byakuya Togami shaped a lot of her characterizations in DR1 before being largely sidelined in later entries in the series, as the character evolved. Toko Fukawa's DID / MPD
Spike Chunsoft's depiction of her Dissociative Identity Disorder, also known as Multiple Personality Disorder, is considered once of the most inaccurate and harmful in modern media. Dangan Ronpa's popularity despite this mishandling of DID sparked much discussion of the disorder in the 2010s, particularly on Tumblr and Amino.
