Girls' Love (ガールズラブ gāruzu rabu) occasionally spelled "Girl's Love" or "Girls Love," or abbreviated as "GL," is term used in Japan to mean the depiction of attraction between women within anime and manga. It can be used interchangeably with the yuri; however, it is primarily used by the publishers rather than fans.[1] On PixivEncyclopedia and by some fans, GL is used as a label to describe pairings by gender.
