stxrmborn is a fanfiction writer on both Wattpad and AO3. She has written for a variety of fandoms, including but not limited to:

stxrmborn began writing fanfiction on Wattpad in early 2014 and then began to cross-publish some of her works on AO3 in 2016. She gained a slow following by writing RPF for alternative bands but eventually found immediate success when she began to write the popular Jon Snow story, Stranger, in 2016. From then on, she only wrote FPF, deleted her RPF fanfiction, and has expressed regret for writing fanfiction for real people, as well as denouncing the popularity of it on websites like Wattpad. She has gone on to write for a multitude of fandoms, including Stranger Things, Star Wars, American Horror Story, etc. and original fiction.

Notable Works

Completed and current fanfics include:

  • Stranger, a Jon Snow/OFC story inspired by Outlander about a modern-day woman who is accidentally transported into the world of Game of Thrones and must discover her destiny in Westeros before it's too late.
  • Howling, a Robb Stark/OFC story about a woman from House Greyjoy who must put aside her differences with Robb when she joins his army during the War of the Five Kings and ultimately agrees to an arranged marriage with him. Features a slow burn, enemies to lovers romance, and the arranged marriage trope that has become popularized in Game of Thrones fanfiction.
  • Sinner, a Jaime Lannister/OFC story where a handmaiden to Catelyn Stark agrees to accompany Brienne of Tarth in transporting Jaime back to King's Landing in exchange for her daughters and learns there's a price to be paid when falling in love with a Lannister.
  • Seventeen, a Steve Harrington/OFC story loosely inspired by Heathers about a teenaged girl who, after her younger brother goes missing and she isolates herself from the popular crowd, reignites a friendship with Steve Harrington and realizes the forces that took her brother have been hidden beneath her feet this whole time.
  • Prisoner, a Kylo Ren/OFC story about a woman from a famous bounty hunter family that agrees to work for the First Order. She eventually falls in love with Kylo, but is murdered by him after their relationship is discovered by Supreme Leader Snoke. After she is resurrected, she plans a coup against Kylo and vows to kill him in revenge. The story has been praised for it's accurate representation of Kylo Ren[1] and showing his descent into madness, as well as presenting a strong, female character who breaks away from a toxic relationship and ultimately finds love in Rey.
  • Hungry Heart, a Michael Langdon/OFC story revolving around a teenaged girl who suffers from visions from the future and discovers she's a prophet when the boy next door reveals he is the Anti-Christ. This story has also been cross-published on stxrmborn's AO3 account.
  • Lover to Lover, a OFC/OMC story taking place during American Horror Story: Hotel about a college student who stays at the Hotel Cortez and is thrust into the world of monsters when he meets a vampire girl living inside the hotel. This story is directly inspired by the Hades/Persephone Greek myth, but is genderswapped where the OMC is named Percy after Persephone and the OFC is named Hadley after Hades. This story is seen by fans of Hungry Heart as an AU of that story, due to the author using the same face claims for both stories, just like every season of American Horror Story.
  • Petals for Armor, a Finnick Odair/OFC story about a woman from District 7, who is as popular in the Capitol as Finnick, and decides to befriend him after years of disliking him from the sidelines, not expecting to be thrown right back into the Hunger Games beside him, where they are forced to pretend to be in love and ultimately develop feelings for each other. The author gives credit to Hayley Williams' album titled, Petals for Armor, for serving as inspiration for both the story's title and main themes discussed in it[2]. This story has been praised for the way it handles Victors' trauma[3] and the extremely slow burn relationship between the OFC and Finnick, due to their treatment in the Capitol. It has also been cross-published on stxrmborn's AO3 account.
  • Bad Blood, a Dick Grayson/OFC alternate universe story where a female detective at the Detroit PD is forced to work with her new boss, Dick Grayson, whom she doesn't like, but after she is given an ancient relic necklace that refuses to come off and blue lights show up from her hands, Dick is suddenly the only person she trusts to help her. Features a slow burn, enemies to lovers romance and an AU plot completely separate from the DC Comics canon. This story has also been cross-published on stxrmborn's AO3 account.
  • Curious, a Jacob Black/OFC story about an intelligent teenaged girl who unknowingly befriends and becomes the imprint to a werewolf named Jacob, thrusting herself into the supernatural world of Forks, Washington.
  • Sucker, a Edward Cullen/OFC alternate universe story about a teenaged girl who moves to Forks, Washington with her dad that believes he's a vampire hunter and gathers evidence of supernatural activity that he thinks is happening in town. Unbeknownst to him, Edward finds comfort in her after Bella Swan breaks up with him to be with Jacob Black, who believes he has imprinted on her. This story features the popular fake dating trope that the OFC proposes as a way to make Bella jealous. It is also an AU plot for the third book in the Twilight series, Eclipse[4].
  • Jawbreaker, an Older!Peter Parker/OFC alternate universe story where a crime reporter is asked by her editor to travel back to her home of Queens, New York to investigate a serious of killings made by someone named, "the Jawbreaker," and write an article that could win her an award. When she arrives, she must face her emotionally-manipulative mother again, as well as her new husband and creepy son, and enlists the help of Spider-Man as she tears through the Jawbreaker case for her article. This story features an older Peter Parker and OFC[5], as well as referencing this Peter is pulled from Marc Webb's "the Amazing Spider-Man" movies, therefore he is played by Andrew Garfield. However, the story is still an AU plot and has no connection to the Webb movies, other than a few references to past events and characters. It has also been cross-published on stxrmborn's AO3 account.
