Lucas is a Pokémon Trainer and a playable character from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. He is popular with fans, though far less so than his Female counterpart Dawn due to her role as one of Ash Ketchum's companions in the Pokémon Anime. He also makes appearances in Pokémon Masters.

While he does have a counterpart in Pokéspe named Diamond, this character is distinct enough for his own article.

In 2022, Pokémon Legends: Arceus released, giving more attention to the character. However, Rei, the Male protagonist of these games, is also distinct enough for his own article.

The Pokémon he is most associated with are Turtwig and Azelf.
