Riley is a Pokémon trainer from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. In the game, he assists the player through Iron Island. He is a fan favorite and the focus of many fanworks. He also makes appearances in Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver, the PokéAni and in Pokéspe.
The Pokémon Riley is most associated with by far is Lucario and Riolu, its pre-evolution.
In the anime, him and Lucario share a deep bond called Aura, which Ash Ketchum can also feel.
