Cyrus is the leader of Team Galactic from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. Team Galactic is the fourth of many evil teams in the Pokémon series who aim to generally be evil. In Team Galactic's case, it is a piracy organization who steals Pokémon and wind energy in hopes of allowing Cyrus to recreate the world with Legendary Pokémon such as Dialga and Palkia. He also makes appearances in Pokémon Masters, PokéAni, Pokéspe and Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, always as a villainous character. He is a fan favorite, though not too many fanworks exist which primarily focus on him.
The Pokémon he is most associated with are Crobat, Weavile and Giratina.
