Will is a member of the Indigo Plateau's Elite Four from Pokémon Gold and Silver. He is well-liked with fans, though not too many fanworks exist which primarily focus on him. He also makes appearances in Pokémon Masters and Pokéspe.
The Pokémon Will is most associated with are Xatu and Slowbro. It's unknown if his name is a nickname or his full name, and sometimes fans given him fanon personal names to headcanon, though this is very rare. In Indonesian, he is known as William[1].

Will and Lucian, Lookalikes?
When Lucian was introduced in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, many fans noticed how similar he looked to Will. Both are psychic-type specialist Elite Four members who have colorful hair, red clothing, and seem somewhat androgynous. When Will received a redesign for Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver, the similarities only became more pronounced. There's a lot of fanart featuring these two side to side for this reason.
