Heather is a contestant on Total Drama. She is a prominent character within the series and popular with fans. As of October 2023, she is the sixth most fanwork'd character from Total Drama as a whole on Archive of Our Own, behind Noah, Duncan, Courtney, Gwen and Alejandro. Other places where fandom lives place her on the same level of prominence.

Lesbian!Heather and Model!Heather are common, though unwrangled tags on Archive of Our Own. Other places where fandom lives may portray Heather with one or all of these attributes. For fanworks, Heather may be described as, "nice," or, "not so bad," in summaries, and some works portray her and Cody as step-siblings. Fanworks which portray them as step-siblings are almost always Cody & Heather.
In Total Roblox Drama, she is called Heavely. Fans may call her this outside of the Roblox fangame. Her appreciation days are November 15th (in Chefhatchet's Appreciation Calendar) and March 31st (in Ace-TD's Mega Character Appreciation List). Heather also won TD Tumblr, a character popularity contest, in 2015.

Heather's Ethnicity
Heather's ethnicity has been implied to be Biracial on the show, being both White and East Asian. Japanese is her most common fanon ethnicity. Total Drama Comeback popularized this interpretation by giving her the Fanon Personal Name Kasuga, which spread throughout the fandom. Though, due to Fannish Drift, much of Total Drama fandom don't know that Comeback was where the name came from.
Fanartists may draw upon their ethnicity headcanons for visual motif.
