td tumblr was a competition on Tumblr for Total Drama fandom. It was a popularity contest to see who was the most popular character and character pairing on the website. It ran from 2012 to 2015 by chefhatchet and chref, both former Total Drama BNFs.
td tumblr 2012
The first td tumblr competition was hosted by chefhatchet. This one featured characters rather than ships.
The final two were Dawn and Brick. Dawn was the winner.
td tumblr 2013
chefhatchet hosted the second td tumblr competition in 2013. This one featured characters rather than ships and was ran during December.
There were often posts for "protecting" certain characters from being eliminated as well as others saying to vote of certain characters. Things got pretty heated, but it was all in good fun. After Courtney got eliminated, she returned as a wild card pick by chefhatchet.

When the final three were revealed to be Noah, Courtney, and Heather, fans made fake Courtney winning speeches. Others were otherwise still creative in convincing others to vote off the remaining contestants.

In the end, Noah won over runner-up Courtney with 429 to his name while Courtney only had 376[5]. Many memes were made later of Noah with a crown on his head and otherwise having a newfound rivalry with Courtney.

td ship tumblr 2014 #1
chref hosted the fourth td tumblr competition in 2014. This one featured ships rather than characters and was ran during January.
The final four ships were Alejandro/Heather, Chef/Chris, Courtney/Gwen and Brick/Jo.
In the end, Alejandro/Heather won over runner-up Chef/Chris with 673 votes to their name while Chef/Chris only had 647[6].
td tumblr 2014
chefhatchet hosted the third td tumblr competition in 2014. This one featured characters rather than ships and was the first year to include characters from Total Drama: Pahkitew Island. It was ran during July.
The last ten characters standing were all Female[7]. They were Courtney, Dakota, Ella, Eva, Heather, Izzy, Jasmine, Leshawna, Scarlett and Sky.
In the end, Jasmine won over runner-up Leshawna with 119 votes to her name while Leshawna only had 110[8].
td ship tumblr 2014 #2
chref hosted the fifth td tumblr competition in 2014. This one featured ships rather than characters and was ran during August-September.
The final four ships were Chef/Chris, Courtney/Gwen, Jasmine/Sammy and Lindsay/Tyler.
In the end, Lindsay/Tyler won over runner-up Jasmine/Sammy with 174 votes to their name while Jasmine/Sammy only had 133[9].
td tumblr 2015
chefhatchet hosted the sixth td tumblr competition in 2015. This one featured characters rather than ships and was the first year to include characters from The Ridonculous Race.
The final four characters were Crimson, Leshawna, Sanders and Heather.
In the end, Heather won over runner-up Leshawna with 54 votes to her name while Leshawna only had 38[10].
