Alejandro/Heather, most known as Aleheather, is a popular pairing within Total Drama fandom. The ship is between Alejandro and Heather, both prominent characters. It has been popular since 2010 and became canon in 2013.
Alejandro/Heather is the biggest ship for both characters. There's been some light ship war between Alejandro/Heather and Alejandro/Noah fans after the later got popular around 2021. Heather/Sierra, Heather's second most popular ship, isn't common enough to be involved in most disputes.
As of October 2023, over 335 works on Archive of Our Own are of Alejandro/Heather. On FanFiction.Net, over 95 fics under the Total Drama category have "Aleheather" in their summaries and over 30 have either "AxH" or "HxA".
Common Tropes
- Post-Total Drama: Many fanworks have them bond over the trauma the series gave them once they're both eliminated during All-Stars.
- Villain Couple: Both play an antagonistic role throughout the series.
- Holiday: More common for this pairing than with any other Total Drama pairing. Both Christmas and Halloween are popular. More common in fanart than fanfiction.
- Height Difference: Alejandro is taller, Heather is shorter.

The biggest Alejandro/Heather BNF back in the day was sallychan[1]. Modern BNFs include aeon-borealis[2], theoneandonlyespa[3] and math-is-math[4]. Overall Total Drama BNF Kika-ila[5] also produces fanworks for this pairing.
In May, Aleheather Week is celebrated in r/Totaldrama. Alejandro/Heather also won TD Tumblr, a ship popularity contest, in 2014.
Pairing Names for Alejandro/Heather
The portmaneau "AleHeather" was coined as a pairing name for them in 2010 along with "AxH" and "HxA." These last two were most common on Fanpop and FanFiction.Net before _x_ ship names in the fandom practically disappeared by 2012 or so, leaving portmanteau ship names like AleHeather to became the norm. In later years, and as of 2024, spelling the name without the H capitalized is more common than not, similar to other ship names involving Alejandro.
