Petrel is a Team Rocket Executive who was originally one of many unnamed Team Rocket Executives in Pokémon Gold and Silver, released in 1999. In 2010, he was given a unique design and name for the Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver remakes.
Him, Archer, Ariana and Proton are often fanworked together, since they are the four Executives present in these games.
