Excerpts
How long have you realised you were a Noromo? What do you think about the whole Shippers vs. Noromos thing? I confess I wasn't a Noromo in Season One. I don't think anyone was anything. But as the UST got stronger I realized that I didn't want them to get together...I just wanted them to keep flirting and solving interesting cases. I would have to say it happened somewhere in Season 2.
What are your thoughts on fanfic? Do you read it regularly, write it? If so where is it archived, under what name? I love fanfic. I read it very regularly. I like Jennifer Stoy, Jill Selby, Marguerite, Nascent, Red Valerian, Lyrica and a whole bunch of other folks that I am forgetting to mention. I do write fanfic although I have a whole bunch on the go that I haven't posted yet. Most of my stuff is under Reade. The smut...well the smut is under a different name. If someone really needs to know...they can ask me! And I also write those silly songs called Filks. They entertain me.
What inspired you to create [ LOON } in the first place? One day one the OBSSE list we were in a heated discussion about how many Shipper sites were out there. I decided that we needed a Noromo one. And LOON was "born".
How did you come to be so involved in the XFU? It must be hard work. Has there been much interest in the Noromo Studies diplomas? I got involved with XFU when Amy was getting it off the ground. I offered my help. She accepted and we've become good friends. I am also the Co-Dean of Villain Studies (MOTW specialist) and the Head of the Dept of Filkology. I took over Noromo Studies from Amyzon, who is also a long standing member of LOON (and OBSSE) she asked me if I would, and I said.."What the hell, why not." We have had a couple of people in the process of writing a thesis but no one has graduated yet. Come on folks...you can even write Noromo Safe Fic...this would make me much happy!
