Jennifer-Oksana is a prolific fan author who has written for a variety of fandoms, most notably Angel, Battlestar Galactica (2003), The X-Files, Grey's Anatomy, 30 Rock, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

She was also a fan archivist, running the first Alias Slash Archive, and many Lilah Morgan-related archives in Angel fandom.

From the early-2000s, an introduction to Oksana's website:

Established in 1998 (originally as Jennifer Stoy's "A Big Ball of Wrong"), Jennifer-Oksana's (TM) has been the vanguard for diverse, bizarre, and yes, just plain WRONG fanfiction. Or in the words of Ms. Oksana herself, "It's not about the readers! It's about blood and sex and identity and--oh, hell, what do you call it? Fried chicken."

Fascinating. If you have something to say about that, write to Ms. Oksana at... [1]

From the mid-2000s, an introduction to Oksana's website:

Welcome to Jennifer-Oksana's (TM), fanfiction for the terminally hipster-snobbish and ennui-charged ironic. This is the personal archive for me, Jennifer-Oksana (AKA Jenny-O AKA That Lilah Person AKA Woman Who Writes Too Much Fic).

This archive covers a multitude of fandoms, pairings, ratings, and sins. Both "adult" content (stories that involve sex, nudity, cursing, and substances) and "slash" (stories involving homosexual/homoerotic themes and/or pairings) are well-represented here and not warned for. Thus, read with an open mind, at your own risk, et cetera.

Jennifer-Oksana is associated with the 1998 essay Bitter Old Fic Queens and Why They Need to Get Over It, the Lilah Morgan character on Angel, the Lilah/Wesley relationship, cross-fandom femslash, and many online disputes on LiveJournal that earned her a spot on the Fandom_Wank wiki.

She was also a known "aca-fan" whose discussions on LiveJournal had long-lasting impact and spawned discussion/description of many fandom tropes.

Jennifer-Oksana joined online fandom in 1996 as a lurker on the Star Trek: DS9 Usenet group. She was also a lurker and or participant on the Debbilmice mailing list.

In 1998, she joined the OBSSE mailing list where she gained the pseud Jennifer-Oksana, but was quickly dubbed "the Beadslut" or "Bead" due to an on-list writing contest thread.

Jennifer-Oksana posted her first finished fic in alt.tv.x-files.creative and caused trouble by duplicating a previously existing title, leading to the thread THINK BEFORE YOU USE *THAT* TITLE!!!!!. This led to an immediate contact with fellow fan FirePhile and the joint-written parody fic "Think Before You Use That Title!" an early example of Jennifer-Oksana's tendency toward controversy, humor, and key collaborations in her fandom career.

Her other notable fics in the fandom include the Choirgirl Set,[3] the Scullyslash series started with Inter-Office Politics and Drive, He Said.

Jennifer-Oksana's time in X-Files fandom also spawned the phrase BOFQ.

She moved into Buffy the Vampire Slayer fandom after meeting Kate_Bolin in 1998. The two began the multifandom mailing list Silverlake together.

Looks like the events of the movie put me in a romantic mood this summer. This story has all the things I like when in a certain mood: an interesting case, a good grasp on the characters and their internal conflicts, and some sex. Hooboy! If you're in this mood too, give in to the "Impulse". You won't be sorry. Plus, it starts out with a great line: "Scully, have you ever wanted to kill me?" [4]
