Lilah Morgan, is a minor character in Angel
Canon
Lilah works for evil law firm Wolfram & Hart. As Head of the firm's Special Projects Division, she was often involved in attempts to sabotage the work of Angel Investigations. Lilah was involved in bring Darla back from the dead. Following Wesley's betrayal of Angel, Lilah and Wesley are shown to be in a sexual relationship but there is very little love lost between the two characters; in keeping with their previous interactions.
Fandom
As an antagonist, it's not surprising that Lilah was not loved by all in Angel fandom. However there were definitely Lilah fans who appreciated her blunt manner and nuanced character.
Lilah was killed off at the end of season 4. The decision by TPTB to remove two female characters, Lilah and Cordelia Chase, following season 4 of Angel got a negative reaction particularly from Lilah and Cordy fans.
However in canon, Lilah's contract with Wolfram & Hart extended past her death, and there are several post-death fics where Lilah is resurrected by her employers and returns to work.
In fanfiction, Lilah is often portrayed as been in a hatesex relationship with Wesley, similar to their canon relationship. One tag used on Ao3 to describe this pairing is "Enemy Lovers".
She was also a popular character for femslash pairings in this fandom. This included Faith Lehane/Lilah Morgan, Cordelia Chase/Lilah Morgan, and Fred Burkle/Lilah Morgan.
