Kefka is the main antagonist from the Square Enix game Final Fantasy VI.
Canon
Cackling, maniacal, and augmented by his clownish aesthetics, Kefka is one of the Final Fantasy series’ most memorable antagonists. Whether he’s poisoning an entire castle’s worth of enemy troops for the fun of it or literally rearranging the face of the planet in search of power, his ambitions and insanity know no bounds. What began as a petty general complaining about sand in his boots slowly turned into a power hungry deity who would have scorched the earth for a chance to rule it. Kefka proves beyond doubt that absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Fandom
Despite being the antagonist, Kefka remains fairly popular with fans due to his contrary and downright insane personality. Fic involving Kefka essentially allows the writer to get away with almost anything, which can be freeing for some.
Shipping
Kefka has been in a position of power over both Terra and Celes during the events of Final Fantasy VI, so it can be fully expected of him to abuse it in noncon situations. Taking advantage of Terra while under the effects of a slave crown is likely too.
