Cyan is a main character from the Square Enix game Final Fantasy VI.
Canon
Proud yet damaged, Cyan’s story involves letting go. After his wife and child were killed by Kefka, Cyan swore revenge, teaming up with those he initially thought his enemy (such as Celes) to fight against The Empire. Cyan witnesses an especially dark scene in which he is forced to watch his wife and child cross over to the afterlife via the Phantom Train.
His knowledge of machines may be especially bad, but this big hearted, antiquated knight will fight for all the right reasons.

Cyan’s age makes shipping him with any of the main female characters questionable at best (he is 50 while they are just 18), therefore the only feasible shipping is with his wife Elayne. AUs where she wasn’t poisoned exist.
