Edgar is a main character from the Square Enix game Final Fantasy VI.
Canon
As lecherous as any king, but thankfully with a good heart, Edgar longs for the day where a woman actually consents to his advances. Leader of the "undefeatable" Figaro army, he prides himself as a master tactician and is able to use his very castle as a plot device not once but many times throughout the events of Final Fantasy VI. With his tools and his crown, he makes for an unusual hero, but he stands out as one of FF6’s best all rounders.

Given his nature, Edgar can be readily shipped with literally any woman old enough to return his advances. It’s proven he does have morals when he asks Relm her age and immediately backs off when he finds out she is just 10, however Terra and Celes aren’t so lucky, and have to deal with a lot worse.
