Izuru Kamukura is a prominent and popular character in the Dangan Ronpa series. He debuted in Dangan Ronpa 2: Goodbye Despair and he also played a significant role in Dangan Ronpa 3: End of Hope's Peak High School.
Kamukura is another form of Hajime Hinata, the final result of an experiment conducted by the headmasters of Hope's Peak Academy (where the games take place) to be someone with every known talent, wiping the conscious of Hinata to create him.

- Izuru Kamukura Has Feelings: a popular headcanon that goes against what canon presents -- that Kamukura has no emotions due to him having every talent, thus having no way to truly feel anything. Popular in works that ship him with the other students, as well as character studies.
- Izuru Kamukura Is Bad At Feelings: in-tune with his canon and fanon characterization. He generally comes of as broody and angsty in canon.
- Hajime Hinata and Izuru Kamukura Are Merged: this AU has him and Hinata "merged" into one consciousness. Related, though opposite, is the Hajime Hinata and Izuru Kamukura Share a Body Simultaneously AU.
