Elizabeth Marshall was a fanartist and zine editor active in the Star Trek: TOS fandom during the 1970s. She was one of three Star Trek fans on the Midway Atoll who got together and published Neutral Zone Outpost from 1976 to 1978, as well as contributing art and cartoons to various zines over the decade. She was especially well-known for her portrayals of Star Trek animals, especially the sehlat.

Elizabeth was also responsible for the sehlat hand puppet which provided Nichelle Nichols much entertainment at Ourcon in 1975. [1]

Reviews and Recommendations

[zine]: Especially good is Elizabeth Marshall's selection of small cartoons and her Sehlat drawings. They're all precious.[2]

[zine]: But what this Interphase really features is abundant artwork in many styles. There are no less than four portfolios: Monica Miller's 'Pre-Reform Vulcan Costumes,' which unfortunately look as if suitable for any warrior culture; Elizabeth Marshall's (cuddly) 'Creatures of the Vulcan Forge.'; 'Mind Melds,' consisting of five Faddis illos including a striking one of Sulu communing with a leaf-plant; and the Spock Fantasia.[3]

[zine]:I saved the best for last. The covers are beautiful! I keep flipping back and forth because I can't decide which I like better. Then I figured: why decide at all? and have decided to simply enjoy both. Joni Wagner always does a beautiful job and so does Elizabeth Marshall. Superb!! [4]
