Astarion/Cazador is the pairing of Astarion and Cazador Szarr in Baldur's Gate III fandom. It was implied that some sort of forced sexual relationship might have existed in EA, in a sire/childe and/or master/spawn dynamic.

In general, Dead Dove: Do Not Eat and Gore are core warning tags of the paring.

• Feeding/bloodplay: Astarion was never allowed to feed on other elves (his kind's preferred sustenance, according to DnD), nor other intelligent beings. Instead he was forced to feed on rats and bugs. The pairing features many instances of Astarion being forced to eat something unappetizing or vile, and even forced to overfeed. There are also scenes of Cazador feeding in front of a hungry Astarion or biting him himself. Blood kink is a common theme as well.
• Rancid Daddy Vibes: Term coined from the story lost and never found by arenathesia and fan discussion related to the pseudo-incest of his relationship with his spawn, particularly Astarion. He frequently forces Astarion to call him father, while calling him son or child/childe. He might switch this dynamic when it most suits him, playing the part of Astarion's husband (or wife, mainly in art) in public, much to Astarion's mortification and horror.
• Sadistic Master: It is canon that Astarion suffered physically and mentally at Cazador's hands. It's common to see, either in art or fiction, various methods of torture being used by Cazador on Astarion. Sometimes Godey is used as intermediary in these sessions. The torture instruments or methods typically are historical and many times brutal. This might include graphic torture such as/similar to the blood eagle, defanging him, removing his nails or castrating him. Fandom also uses BDSM tropes with this pairing.
• Scarification: Cazador has canonically carved part of an infernal contract into Astarion's back, which considering how vampire regeneration works, shouldn't be possible or at the very least, easily achievable. How this was done remains a mystery, with some fans pondering if the dagger used for the ritual was blessed or the ritual itself allowed the skin to scar. Scarification in the pairing tends to refer to the infernal contract scars, but other fanworks exist.
• Topping from the bottom: A growing trend amongst fans of the pairing is to have Cazador compel Astarion to top him. Usually Astarion needs to be very careful with his actions during sex, lest he be punished afterwards.
• Whump/Hurt and no Comfort: Canonically the relationship has always been unbalanced (as a master/spawn). Due to Cazador's nature, Astarion saw little to no peace during his time as spawn. Many stories don't feature a good ending for Astarion, or they showcase just how bad his situation was, with any relief or comfort.
