Anime's Got Talent is a popular amv in the broader anime fandom. As of December 2023, it has over 23 million views on Youtube. The video is well known in the community for its premise as well as the impressive masking and technical skill demonstrated by the creators.

Description

The AMV features numerous characters from anime and the occasional cartoon competing against each other in an "Anime's Got Talent" competition referencing shows like America's Got Talent. In the end, it seems to come down to Luffy, Naruto, Kaori Miyazono, and Kaito Kid (who's quickly disqualified for disappearing). As the finalists await the results, Lelouch Lamperouge from Code Geass appears to brainwash the judges and take the crown himself.

A second "secret ending" video reveals that Zoro has finally arrived after getting lost and Lelouch has been added to the judging lineup, much to the chagrin of competition loser, Naruto.[1]

Fan Reactions

I've watched this for years now, and every single time I come back and watch it again, I realize just how much of a nightmare this must have been to edit 😅 You guys seriously popped off with this though, and I can't stop myself from stopping it every few seconds to try and figure out what magic you performed in your editing software to make everything run so smoothly. This is so impressive, and I hope that even almost 7 years later, you take joy in seeing your work thrive. Cheers!
