Nudge-Nudge and Wink-Wink, by Junkmail

Abyss is a Canadian fanfiction writer in the comics fandom during the 1990s and 2000s. He was particularly active in the "first wave" of the Subreality Cafe round robins and his avatar was identified as having prehensile toes and a pair of of sentient cannibalistic bunny slippers known as Nudge-Nudge and Wink-Wink. He was also a member of the Brothers Drunk, along with Dex and Phil Foster. He was also a regular poster on rec.arts.comics.marvel.xbooks and alt.comic.fan-fiction.

Abyss wrote both comedy and drama - his personal archive was split into "Abysserious" and "Abyssilly" sections - with a focus on Scott Summers, Mr. Sinister, X-Force and AU settings.
