Yasuhiro Hagakure is a student from Dangan Ronpa. He is a prominent character within the series, though is not too popular with fans. Hagakure debuted in Dangan Ronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and survived The Mastermind's Killing Game, along with Makoto Naegi, Byakuya Togami, Kyoko Kirigiri, Aoi Asahina and Toko Fukawa. He also played a role in Dangan Ronpa 3: End of Hope's Peak High School.

Age Gaps in Shipping
Similar to Takashi Shirogane in Voltron: Legendary Defender's fandom, Hagakure is a few years older than the rest of his classmates. While the others are around 17, Hagakure is either 20, (in the Japanese release,) or 21, (in the English release.) Although this creates some discourse, it appears to have died off in the 2020s with the rise of Hagakure x Togami as a popular ship.

- Hagakure's most popular pairing is with Leon Kuwata, which is M/M, aka Boys' Love. In Japanese, this is most often called だべアポ, meaning Hagakure attacks and Kuwata receives in the coupling. Although he and Kuwata did not interact much canonically, fans may believe they could've been good friends and even lovers.
