Hagakure x Daiya Oowada, most known as Daiyakure, is a common crackship coupling within Dangan Ronpa fandom. The ship is between Yasuhiro Hagakure and Daiya Oowada. While Hagakure is a prominent character, Daiya Oowada is incredibly minor, only playing a role in Mondo Oowada's backstory as his older brother. The ship has been possible since 2010, thought it was only around the 2020s when Hagakure x Daiya became shipped seriously.
Hagakure x Daiya is a pair the spares pairing, often shipped if Hagakure's age difference with the rest of the cast is an issue, (he is three years older than the rest of Trigger Happy Havoc's cast, making him likely the same age as Daiya.) This ship is only common in English-speaking DR fandom and likely unheard of in Japanese-speaking DR fandom. The ship is also a background pairing more often than not.

This story is one part of a larger The Hagakure-Ishimaru Sitcom Universe collection. "Sorry I fucked your brother" by chaoticmaskedman[2] is the most kudos'd fic focusing on this ship in particular, since Taka's Box focuses on Kiyotaka Ishimaru.
