Sugimoto Saichi, aka Sugimoto the Immortal or Immortal Sugimoto, is the co-protagonist of Golden Kamuy, along with Asirpa. He is one of the most popular characters within the fandom, along with breakout character Ogata Hyakunosuke.
Sugimoto survived the Ainu gold hunt and is last seen visiting Asirpa's kotan three years after the story concluded.
