The zine is a collection of letters from fans (titled "From the Helpers") of the show discussing aspects of the show including the actors, characters, stories, and fanfiction. This zine also contains photos (both xeroxed and original), some original artwork, con reports, open letters, and sometimes clippings and interviews.

Some regular features were: "OK Good...OK Fine" (the editorial), "From the Library" (zine listings), and "On the Pipes" (fan clubs).

There were 60 issues published between 1988 to 1996.

I thought I'd drop you all a note giving a first-hand account of last week's whirlwind of activity - the most exciting time for B&B fans since the show went off the air.

Tickets for "Love Letters," starring Ron Perlman and Linda Hamilton, sold out quickly and B&B supporters from all over the country descended upon L.A. for the event. Ron Koslow was in the audience on opening night, and I’m told he visited with Ron and Linda backstage after the show.

I have found it very interesting to hear the different points of view aired in "OUT...IN", (I try to look at most things as the Vulcan IDIC rather than get insulted that another opinion is radically different.) I would love to see some more of the writing in of personal opinions, regardless of season or character preference, as long as those writing in simply express their opinions in a 'normal' tone, rather than get militant about it. I know we can all get passionate about the best t.v. show on this planet, but passion can be expressed in a whisper(like someone we'd love to know) as easily as a scream.

Hooray! Issue #34 was like a breath of fresh air, the most interesting in a long time. The different subjects, the wider range of views—great. It tapped in to my memories of what letterzines used to be: A place for open dialogues about the series. More, more, more!

Issue 36: Excerpts from the Letters

I haven't written an LOC in some time so I hate to write one with a somewhat disgruntled tone. However, if I hear one more person say "there's nothing going on in fandom now" I think I'll scream.... Out of all this there surely must be something to appeal to each person's taste or preference. So before saying, "there's nothing happening" and using it as an excuse to withdraw - LIGHTEN UP. Order a calendar, watch an episode, ANYTHING to keep up the momentum or perhaps there will come a time when there really won't be anything happening. As someone once said "One either moves toward love or away from it". I hope the direction is clear.

What do those who love to criticize Linda believe their hero, Ron Perlman, would think if HE were to read some of their letters? Do they think their extreme criticism of her would please him? I would venture to say he would have little regard for such ones. Nor would other members of the 'B&B' cast such as Jay Acovone, Roy Dotrice and David Greenlee (to name a few)....
