My Kingom for an U.N.C.L.E. is a gen anthology. It includes the "Kingdom Series."

There was to be a continuation zine of stories called In the Blood, which was advertised in Media Monitor #10. These stories ended up being done as a continuation focusing on Illya's stepson Paul joining UNCLE. It was decided by the universe creator to take the series more original characters and out of 'fanfic' realm. This change resulted in "In the Blood" (15 books and two 'rewritten' books of background from the MKU zines) and "Invisible Ink" (11 books) series. These books, except for In the Blood 1, were written by Rachelle S., Hindman, and Jane Evans.

Issue 1

My Kingdom for an U.N.C.L.E. 1 was published in February 1984 (second printing: December 1984, Third printing: March 1985. Fifth printing: October 1996) and contains 367 pages.

The front cover is by Bonnie Reitz, back cover by Christine Myers, and the interior art is by Kathy Carlson, Cathi Brown, Mel White, Charlene Kirby, Melody Rondeau, and Catherine Schlein.
