In 1982, she was nominated for a FanQ award and submitted the following bio to The Annual Fan Q Awards Nominations Booklet:
"About three years in fandom, (although a Fan from the original showing of the series) alternating with stories and artwork. (illos in 22 zines and two upcoming novels so far.) Along with regular 'Enterprise' stories, have developed three additional characters/universes: "Kathleeen Little Hawk," an Investigative Agent (with peculiar friends), the Pakari, a wolf-like shapechanger, and a Mirror Mirror universe where human, Klingon, and Vulcan are warlike allies."
