Kris is a Pokémon Trainer and a playable character from Pokémon Crystal. She is popular with fans, though less so than her Male counterpart Ethan. She also makes appearances in Pokémon Masters. Marina, her PokéAni counterpart, and Crystal, her Pokéspe counterpart, are distinct enough characters that they won't be discussed here.

Although Kris was originally a fanon-given name for her, Kris became her official canonical name in 2022 with her inclusion in Masters, 21 years after the release of Crystal.

The Pokémon she is most associated with is Suicune.

Kris may be confused for Lyra from Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver. Both are Female protagonists for the Generation II Pokémon games.

  • Together, Kris/Lyra, Silver and Ethan make up the Johto Trio.
    • In Japanese, their gen (combi in Japanese) relationship is called 城都トリオ, meaning Johto Trio.
    • This is not to be confused with ジョウトリオ, which is this same group but for the Pokéspe.
    • ジョウト組 may also be used, though that just translates as Johto Group, so it includes any large group of Johto characters.
