Helena Bertinelli is a DC Comics character. She has also appeared in four different media versions of the DCU: Justice League Unlimited, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Arrow, and Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn).
Canon Overview
Helena Bertinelli first appeared in The Huntress #1 (April 1989).
Comics
Helena was born to a prominent Gotham City Mafia family, and witnesses the murder of her entire family at a young age. This later led to her becoming 'The Huntress who wanted revenge against her family's killer. She has a complicated relationship with Batman - he's sometimes her mentor but at the same time her antagonist as he rejects the more violent side of Helena. Oddly enough, the other members of the Batfamily - Barbara, Tim, and Dick - have all fairly good relationship with her.
As of New 52, it was revealed that Helena Bertinelli has been dead for awhile and her identity was taken over by Helena Wayne from Earth-2.
DC Rebirth racebent Helena and connected her to Spyral, a spy organization where she worked with Dick Grayson under the alias Matron.
DC Animated Universe
Huntress was voiced by Amy Acker and appeared in a few episodes on the Justice League Unlimited.
Batman: The Brave and the Bold
Huntress was voiced by Tara Strong.
Arrow
Helena is portrayed by Jessica De Gouw, and has appeared in four episodes. The series rewrote her background and motivation by having it been her fiancé murdered by her father.
