Relationships

M/M | Yaoi

  • Gold is most commonly paired up with Silver, forming PreciousMetalShipping[1]. In Japanese, this is most often called ゴシル (Goshiru), meaning Gold is the seme and Silver is the uke in the coupling.
    • It had its own page on Bulbapedia, seen here, Archived version.
    • The opposite is also commonly shipped and is written as シルゴ (Shirugo).
    • ライ主♂ (Rai-nushi ♂) and 主♂ライ (Shu ♂ rai), both meaning Rival x Protagonist, also work.
  • Gold is also shipped with Red, forming PoliShipping. In Japanese, this is most often called レゴー (Regō), meaning Red is the seme and Gold is the uke in the coupling.
    • Gold & Red is also a common gen (combi in Japanese) relationship of theirs, dubbed シロガネ師弟 in Japanese, meaning Shirogane Master and Disciple.

Gen | Combi

  • Together, Gold, Silver, Crystal make up the PokéSpe Johto Trio.
    • In Japanese, their gen (combi) relationship is called ジョウトリオ, meaning Johto Trio.
    • This is not to be confused with 城都トリオ, which is this same group but for the Gameverse.
    • ジョウト組 may also be used, though that just translates as Johto Group, so it includes any large group of Johto characters.
