Whatever Happened to Harry & Johnny? is a slash 191-page anthology. Art by Ruth Kurz, Nancy Broll and Kari Masoner. It required an age statement to purchase.

There are five "complete" stories. There is also a very lengthy section of "Stories that Never Got Written" which is story fragments, vignettes, outlines, and authors' explanations in the form of letters to Ruth of what they envisioned/or have written so far to fill in gaps in the timeline. Some of these sections are very lengthy and are almost complete unto themselves. It is a fascinating look into the construction of this intricate universe.

About the Stories that Never Got Written Section

From Ruth Kurz:

Nobody like loose ends. In the zine, Timeline, I published a Harry and Johnny timeline listing all the stories and events in their lives to help readers understand where things fit into the ongoing saga of these characters. I am reissuing an updated timeline in this zine, adding all the stories written since the last printing. Many of the stories listed as 'proposed' or 'not yet printed' eventually were, but others never got written. This section of Whatever Happened to Harry & Johnny? is dedicated to summarizing those stories for you, giving you as much as I know myself about what ideas authors and I had planned to write. I'm including suggestions for stories by a couple of people who wanted to see some ideas enlarged upon. My inspiration for this section was Kate Nuernberg's Cold Fish and Stale Chips which is a forum for unfinished stories in The Professionals universe. A good idea. This tidies up the past, getting these 'off our backs' the way unfinished things tend to create pressure, and allows us to move to new ideas. Harry and Johnny will continue to appear in The Fruit Zines and who knows where else. This is not 'goodbye,' just 'catch-up time.' I have tried to reach everyone whose partial stories, summaries, or ideas are printed here, but the years we've been out of touch have been long. All these bits were given to me to publish inH/J eventually. Well, now is 'eventually,' so I hope the permission granted has stretched without breaking.

[Quantum Force]]: Quantum Force" is a sweet H/J story where Sam leaps into a child. [1]
