Welcome to Fanlore, Magpie! If you have any questions, you can ask another user on their talk page, or post a question on the talk page of an article. --MPH (talk) 00:02, 24 September 2016 (UTC)

Thank you for all the work you are doing on the meta essays and categories. --MPH (talk) 18:20, 24 September 2016 (UTC)

Haha no problem, just trying to get everything in one place for the most part! --Magpie (talk) 18:25, 24 September 2016 (UTC)

Magpie, I left a message for you at I'm just experimenting - f/f fanfiction through the eyes of a fence-sitter. --MPH (talk) 13:13, 13 November 2016 (UTC)

If you let me know of some good links/sources for more femslash meta, I'd love to work with you in adding more. --MPH (talk) 16:53, 14 November 2016 (UTC)

Oh cool, thanks! When I've got some more free time I'll see what I can dig up and share, I'm all for seeing more femslash meta around here. Magpie (talk) 12:57, 18 November 2016 (UTC)

I added the category "Femslash Zines" to Deep Spaces as about 1/4 to 1/3 of the fiction is f/f. --MPH (talk) 22:15, 16 February 2017 (UTC)

Sounds good! My knowledge of zines is pretty limited, baring some of the newer fan art focused ones popping up around tumblr and such, so I'm glad someone such as yourself is here to archive them. Magpie (talk) 23:23, 16 February 2017 (UTC)

Magpie, I can't tell you how much I love your additions to the pairing articles. They are fabulous. --MPH (talk) 01:01, 17 May 2017 (UTC)

Thanks MPH! I'm mostly using centrumlumina's list of top 100 femslash pairings as rough guide haha Magpie (talk) 07:32, 17 May 2017 (UTC)
Excellent plan! --MPH (talk) 11:03, 17 May 2017 (UTC)

Maybe you know, Magpie? I was going to add the Xena Shipper's Manifesto to Fanlore, but the page comes up blank for me at http://ship-manifesto.livejournal.com/tag/xena%3A%20warrior%20princess

Do you know if was removed? Or ever posted somewhere else? --MPH (talk) 17:50, 19 June 2017 (UTC)

They have a dreamwidth account as well and it looks like there's one entire for Xena https://ship-manifesto.dreamwidth.org/tag/xena:+warrior+princess I'm not sure if there were others in the past that might have been deleted but I hope this helps. Magpie (talk) 09:29, 20 June 2017 (UTC)

Hi Magpie - I've greatly enjoyed all your contributions to Fanlore, but I've noticed that some of your additions seem to come from outside sources and are missing citations. If an outside source (even another wiki) is used in a Fanlore article, they need to be properly credited — see Fanlore:Citation for more information, or feel free to contact the committee with questions. Thank you for all your hard work! --sparc 21:06, 26 November 2017 (UTC)

Ah sorry, definitely something I used to do but I think it just got away from me recently while throwing in some background canon information for articles. I'll sort it though. Cheers!
Perfect, thanks very much :) --sparc 06:31, 28 November 2017 (UTC)

Advanced Editor Invitation

Hi Magpie,

Thanks so much for all the contributions you've been making to the wiki. We wanted to extend the invitation for you to become an Advanced Editor on Fanlore, as we've been very impressed with the quality and variety of your edits. Fanlore Advanced Editors have special editing rights on the wiki, most importantly the ability to move and delete pages. You can learn more about Advanced Editors and what is involved in being one via our dedicated page on Fanlore.

If you would like to become an Advanced Editor, please let us know by replying to this message or by contacting us through the Fanlore committee contact form.

If you are interested in getting even more involved with Fanlore, you can also apply to our Gardener program. Gardeners are responsible for monitoring the wiki and keeping it free from spam, and answering occasional user queries. They are official Fanlore volunteers. You can learn more about the role and its permissions on this page.

We hope to hear from you soon,

Hello! Sorry for the late reply I've been away the past week. Anyway thanks for the invite, it sounds interesting so I'll give it shot. Lemme know when you want me to try the test for it. Cheers! Magpie (talk) 20:36, 11 November 2019 (UTC)
Hi, Magpie! That's absolutely fine - so sorry for my own late reply on this! In my head I was convinced that I'd got back to you and I just this second realised that I hadn't. Mea culpa!
I've authorised your new status and you now have full Advanced Editor rights. There is a two-week trial period for all new Advanced Editors; you need to complete the Move and Delete Page tutorial before 5th January to keep your new status. Otherwise, we'll automatically revert the change in status and you will be switched back to normal editor rights.
Would you mind also dropping us a line on our contact form so that we have a contact email for you? This is just used to send out our annual rights confirmation survey to make sure that all Advanced Editors wish to keep their rights.
Thank you, and let me know if you have any questions! --enchantedsleeper (talk) 13:25, 22 December 2019 (UTC)
No worries! I'll drop you guys a line. Also as a quick aside, moving "Test Move Page" to "Move Test Page" really messed with my dyslexia for a hot second there, I thought it was a legit trick like "but they're.. the same??". Magpie (talk) 18:20, 23 December 2019 (UTC)
You make a very good point - they are easy to mix up and it doesn't really matter what the pages are called, so we can name them something more distinctive. Thanks for pointing it out - we will think of a new name for the second page that's less confusing :) --enchantedsleeper (talk) 16:09, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
Glad my confusion has been somewhat helpful haha 18:00, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
