Britain's Regency period (technically 1811–1820, but more broadly 1795–1837) is a popular setting for fanworks, both from fandoms set during the actual Regency era and Regency AUs in other fandoms. This page concentrates on canonical Regencies.

There are a number of fandoms set during the Regency era, such as the works of Jane Austen and Georgette Heyer, Temeraire and some Age of Sail fandoms. Fanworks for these fandoms often major in historical accuracy, with authors being proud of checking minute details of dress and culture.

Original fiction set in this period is also fairly common. It can be posted at the Derbyshire Writers' Guild, one of the main Austen archives.
