List of Transformers Relationship Names is a page for listing all pairing names in Transformers fandom.
In Japanese fandom, order matters, that is, whether the Kanji is "left" or "right" of the other one. Because Transformers mostly features characters who's names are not in Kanji, shortened versions of their names in Katakana are used. For example, Megatron/Starscream can be either メガスタ (Megastar), where Megatron is left/tops/the seme, or スタメガ (Starmega), indicating Starscream is left/tops/the seme.
Some Transformer names are also different in Japan than in western markets. Optimus Prime is known as Convoy (spelled コンボイ), while Jazz is often called Meister (spelled マイスター), for example, as he got renamed to this when the original 1980s cartoon came to Japan -- though in later appearances he's known as Jazz (spelled ジャズ.)
In western fandom, different-order ship names are often used interchangeably.
In both circles, it's common on Twitter to use emoji to represent characters in a ship, though in Japanese fandom this is far more prevalent.
