Drift, aka Deadlock, is a popular and recurring character in the Transformers franchise.
Canon Overview
Drift first appears in the Transformers Generation One IDW Comics continuity in 2008 with All Hail Megatron issue 5, later appearing in his own Spotlight issue and Drift miniseries, before becoming a main-stay character in IDW's More Than Meets the Eye and Lost Light titles. He also is a main character in Empire of Stone, not appearing in several MTMTE issues for a time.
He also appears in the Michael Bay Transformer movie Age of Extinction, the Robots in Disguise cartoon series, and Transformers Cyberverse.
