Korekiyo Shinguji is a student from Dangan Ronpa. He was a prominent character within the series and popular with fans. Shinguji debuted in the third game of the main-line series, Dangan Ronpa V3: Killing Harmony, but did not survive the killing game.
The topic of incest, tulpas and plurality are often are brought up in discussion surrounding his character.
Canon Overview
Pre-Game Personality
Shinguji was an average teenage boy and a fan of Dangan Ronpa, the in-game fictional reality TV show. He auditioned for the show's 53rd season, (stylized as V3,) and got on it. In fanworks, this is considered to be his Pre-Game Personality. Like with every other Killing Harmony student, all of this info is filtered by Tsumugi Shirogane, and fans may not believe this part of his character is true.
Dangan Ronpa Personality
Shinguji is introduced as an Anthropologist. He recalls having an older sister who meant everything to him, who he had been taking care of since he was young due to her terrible health. He has a very cool-headed and aloof personality, appearing to study his classmates throughout the game.
During the game, he remained aloof from his classmates, though showed eagerness in observing them. During Chapter 3, he kills first Angie Yonaga and then Tenko Chabashira, with the motive of sending them to the afterlife to be friends with his 'beloved' sister.
