Jan Lindner is an early Star Trek and Starsky & Hutch fan fiction writer. She has continued to participate in fandom with her most recent credit in 2002 in the Horatio Hornblower fandom.

She and Judi Hendricks are sisters, something she notes in Datazine #28.

In 1982, she was nominated for a FanQ award and submitted the following bio to The Annual Fan Q Awards Nominations Booklet:

"Short Bio: UNCLE fan since The Beginning, ditto Trek, SW, S&H. Got into active fandom in '75 after Chicago con, published Pegasus 1 & 2 with my sister Judi and assorted weird friends; published One-Shot (S&H) in 1980. I've gofered, sat on panels, and Gumbied at several cons, and have written for Pegasus, Warped Space, Syndizine, Zebra-3, The Pits, Casa Cabrillo, One-shot. and will be in Strange Justice and Faces of Time. The above categories run from Trek thru Who, with SW, S&H and bits of many others in between... "Fringe" fandom with a cheer rather than a sneer. I've also done parodies and a few filks, usually under pseudonyms, and have had tentative-neo artwork in Peg V and The Pits 2."
