I will destroy Ryan Ross and all that he loves: a cautionary tale is a 41-minute multi-voice Bandom podfic by templemarker (as the narrator), anna_unfolding (as Sisky), klb (as Butcher), ohnoktcsk (as Mike), fabu (as Ryan), pennyplainknits (as William), aphelant (as Tom), bessyboo (as Jon), girlpearl (as Spencer), arami (as Brendon) and andeincascade (as Pete).
The pairings are Ryan Ross/Adam Siska, Ryan Ross/Jon Walker, Adam Siska/William Beckett, Ryan Ross/Pete Wentz, and Adam Siska/Pete Wentz.
Summary: William Beckett vs Ryan Ross. This is Thunderdome.
This podfic was recorded as a live reading at Bitchin Party and is done in a radio play style. As such, it isn't the same quality as you might expect from a podfic that has had a lot of takes. pennyplainknits edited and adjusted volume for the final version and also left in some of the incidental noise (and giggling!) so you get an idea of the atmosphere.[1]
Recs and Reviews
A lovely recent example for multiple voices is the following podfic, recorded at a live reading during PacifiCon. Every reader voices a different character, and it feels more like an audioplay. Or rather, it feels like we are with everyone in the room having a blast with the story. In this short excerpt we hear four different characters and the narrator (Anna_unfolding, Penny, ohnoktcsk, klb,Templemarker)[2]
