A Short 2000 Bio

Graculus was born in a small seaside town, and currently lives near Birmingham in England. Because she currently works with children, she chose to write under the pen-name of "Graculus" as she got the feeling that writing slash would be frowned upon by her employers, were she publishing under her real name.

She has been writing since early 1999, though she'd always had thoughts about TV shows and movies since she first saw Star Wars in 1977. When she finally went on-line, it didn't take long before her casual interest in Stargate SG-1 became an obsession, and she started to write. Her other great love in terms of fandoms is Man from U.N.C.LE., for which she has written one slash novel so far. However, apart from submissions to various SG-1 zines. Unrequited is her first work to be published.

Graculus has recently been teaching herself HTML coding, so she could set up her own web-site to archive her stories. Apart from that, she is a serious bookworm, having an interest in photography and a love of travel.
