Falkner is a Pokémon Gym Leader from Pokémon Gold and Silver. He is well-liked with fans, though not too many fanworks exist which primarily focus on him. He also makes appearances in Pokémon Masters, PokéAni and Pokéspe.

The Pokémon Falkner is most associated with is by far the Pidgey line, including itself, Pidgeotto and Pidgeot.

  • Falkner is most commonly paired up with Morty, forming HonorShipping[1], aka ArroganceShipping, which is Male/Male, aka yaoi. In Japanese, this is most often called マツハヤ (Matsuhaya), meaning Morty is the seme and Falkner is the uke in the coupling.
    • The opposite is also commonly shipped and is written as ハヤマツ (Hayamatsu).
  • Falkner's most popular Gen relationship is with Janine, forming FatherlyShipping when romantic and is often just labelled as Falkner & Janine when it's not.
