Wanna Share?? was a German Starsky & Hutch letterzine that was published every two months between September 1995 and April 1998.

Its content was gen and non-explicit slash.

The issues were between 32 and 78 pages long.

The editor had some challenging vision problems, and she had some help from friends regarding dictating letters in English to letterzines.

Push Back on Slash Content

The editor was unhappy at some of the push back she'd gotten to a slash story in one of the first (or first) issue of her letterzine:

[November 1995]:

"Wanna Share” - my German l/z started well - but now there’s the very first problem lying ahead - I’ve got a really mad answer to a little, very cute - but "/"-story. Sigh, somehow I'm too tired of this discussion - but otherwise I’ve started something very new in Germany, and maybe I have to have a bit more tolerance and even time to listen to all of them who have or get problems with the "/"-idea. But really - I don't like to listen to insulting and hurting answers at all. I’m of course curious and in some kind even anxious about the answers the friends in Germany will finally find (or have) already. Oh dear - all over the world there are the same problems. When - tell me - when will it be possible to accept people with all their opinions - whether others do like them or not?! I think if - if this day will finally come - we’ve solved a lot of our problems at once. Hopefully this day will come - and hopefully soon. [1]

Eight months later, she gave an update.

[July 1996]:

My l/z, "Wanna Share" is after the 6th issue a really great success. The latest issue had 78 pages!! After having a lot of trouble with the bad letter of a fan who wasn’t able to accept the slash-aspect. I’ve faced all fans with this problem and all worked out really well. There was a great tolerance and even when the acceptance wasn’t with all fans - we all found away to go together. It was a really - really great mystery - and I have to thank all the wonderful German fans who never ever had heard of all the problems before - and had solved it on their own way: with a lot of love and tolerance!
