Talk:Buckaroo Banzai
I have updated this page, including expanding the main section, and adding links to 7 examples of fanart. Another editor has also added 3 fanart images. My question is: Who gets to decide whether this page still needs the "Expansion" and "Examples Wanted" codes...? I wasn't bold enough to just delete them myself! Julie (talk) 14:58, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
- If you think the page has been significantly expanded upon you can remove the "Expand Article" and "Example Wanted" tags, if anyone disagrees they can make their case on the talk page -- Kingstoken (talk) 15:26, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
- I removed the "needs expansion" tag but left in "examples wanted," with a note that we'd specifically like fic examples. All the current examples are art. --Elf (talk) 19:58, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
recommend moving a paragraph
What a super page!
I'm going to move the paragraph that begins with "Much of the Banzai-related fan activity" lower down to the fan activities, and give it its own header. I'm also going to break out the bit about the pairings for emphasis. That way it doesn't break up all the canon-y parts. Feel free to tweak if it doesn't work well. --MPH (talk) 13:54, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you for your kind words, MPH, and for the edits. They are a great improvement! | Julie (talk) 00:57, 14 November 2020 (UTC)
recent edit
Julie, I just peaked at your recent edit to the fandom and I'd like to say that it added a lot of interesting context and I really like it. But I found the title Canon/Fandom Fusion a bit awkward? -- Error cascade (talk) 09:03, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
- Cool, thank you for the feedback! It's late at night here and I'm not coming up with an alternative, but I'll have a ponder... Something along the lines of "In Which the Fourth Wall is Demolished"...? Nah, I'd better head for bed. If you have any ideas, please feel free to share! | Julie (talk) 11:40, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
- I've changed it to "The Fandom Itself Becomes Canon", and tweaked the text a bit. Hope that's a bit better. Thanks again! | Julie (talk) 00:48, 17 November 2020 (UTC)
- That makes more intuitive sense to me :) — Error cascade (talk) 01:53, 17 November 2020 (UTC)
