I've been editing Fanlore since the fall of 2017, that being when I learned that Fanlore used volunteer editors, I think from an AO3 twitter post. The idea of recording fandom activities appealed to me.

I have created pages mostly for fandoms I am familiar with (but I help out with others when I can). Most of my work can been seen in the Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, The 100, Supernatural, various Star Trek categories, plus others. I created character and pairings pages (and there were a lot because all these shows had large ensemble casts), and articles for challenges, such as big bangs and fanweeks.

I also enjoy researching and recording fan challenges, especially those that took place on Tumblr, because sometimes the originating accounts and original posts tend to disappear after a short period of time.

One of my biggest fandom projects was creating articles for all the challenges on this list, List of Supernatural Challenges. The list has been added to since and is by no means complete, because the depth and history of challenges in Supernatural fandom is immense, and they keep creating new ones, but I hope I have covered the majority of well known challenges, especially the big bangs. However, there is some fear that some challenges, especially the very early ones, will disappear off of sites like LiveJournal or Tumblr, even now it is hard to find challenges that took place before 2010, I know they existed, because they are occasionally referenced, but tracking down info about what exactly the rules or parameters were can be difficult if the original challenge journal or blog is gone.

And, because I am a glutton for punishment, I have started some other lists:

I do not expect to make pages for all these challenges myself, but I do hope by putting these challenges in a list that there is a record of them occurring somewhere on Fanlore. Someday hopefully all these challenges will also have their own pages, and editors that know more than me will be encouraged to created them after finding them listed on one of these lists.

I am a social media volunteer for Fanlore, which means I'm one of a team of people that helps write Fanlore's social media posts, so if you have ever seen our Featured Article, Ship Sunday, Fanwork Fridays, etc, posts I may have written it. If you are not following Fanlore on X/Twitter, Blue Sky, or Tumblr please do so, we work really hard on those posts and you might learn about some fun fandom history as well.

I am a fan creator, I write fanfiction, I create graphics like icons, fic covers, moodboards and gif sets, and I also, on a rare occasion, create vids. I'm am also a challenge moderator, my biggest yearly task is moderating the annual multifandom gifting fest fandomtrees on Dreamwidth, but I have also moderated fanweeks on Tumblr and a couple of single fandom exchanges on AO3.

Fanlore Projects

Tumblr Archiving

I am part of this project, and I am slowly making my way through character and pairings pages, that I have previously worked on and making sure all the tumblr links are archived

Yahoo! Groups

I was one of many editors that tried to record fan mailing lists before Yahoo Groups closed, but there was so many of them it got overwhelming
