The OutsideTheLines Feature of the Month's grand re-opening, after its five month lay-off, pays homage to the major soul-searching that took place in its absence, with five stories wherein characters had to do some soul-searching of their own.

  • "Duty Calls: Lifelines " By Ascian Marvel published 'X-Men: Millennial Visions,' which was sort of pin-up collection of potential story ideas. One of them was 'Duty Calls' --a look into a future where the "X-Men are split into multiple two-man interplanetary teams designed to protect the cosmos." One of those teams consisted of Wolverine and Jubilee, who patrol the outer rim of the Shi'ar Empire, protecting alien allies against attack.
  • "I'll Remember You, Robin" By Firebird - Batman reflects on the life - and death - of Jason Todd, Robin.
  • "Violation" By Tracy Sue - Anyway, this is a completely serious look into Jubilee's head after recent events in Gen-X.
  • "Unstoppable" By Nute - Cain Marko, the unstoppable force known as the Juggernaut, finally grows weary and does the unthinkable[2].
  • "Youngest Son" By Smitty - This story was written for Robin month on the Bludhaven egroups list.
