Miss Windy's Den of Tommy Torture (also known as Obsess Much???, Miss Windy's Archive of X-Men and Star Trek Fan Fiction, Miss Windy's Fan Fic Haven and Everybody Knows Shadows Fall Across The Sun Sometimes) was a personal fanfiction and fansite. It was hosted by GeoCities and a member of The Star Trek Slash Ring and maybe other webrings.

It was linked at an earlier version of the Tom Paris Dorm with the description: "A very dynamic page with very good angsty PK and CP fanfic."[1]

Fanfiction

In Betweentime - Harry Potter fic. Rated G. A sappy little Ron/Hermione drabble. Altogether now: Awwwwwwww.

Meteor Killed The Langs By Their Car! - Smallville songfilk parody to the tune of "Video Killed The Radio Star" by the Buggles. Yes, I'm going straight to hell, why do you ask?

Vast - Smallville. A Chloe/Whitney fic. Chloe and Whitney strike up an unorthodox camaraderie and learn to appreciate their own humanity. Humor/ Romance. Rated PG.

X-Men: Dawn of the Revolution (work in progress): An X-Men Movie Sequel. Starring Gambit, Magneto, Mystique and Nightcrawler... and just about everyone else. (Rated NC-17 for extreme violence, sexual situations, adult themes)

Looking for my Tom Paris fan fiction? It's gone, gone, gone. Please read the FAQ to see why.

Star Trek Voyager

Personal Wars AU:

An alternate universe, taking place just before "Equinox 1", where Tom and Chakotay's anger, resentment and intrigue for each other plays out in full force. They're all rated NC-17 for sexual situations, homoerotica, adult language, and other good stuff. Series currently unfinished and needs some major overhauling.

   BattleStations (Part 1)
   Casualties of War (Part 2)
Dogfights (Part 3) -- NEWLY REVISED as of 7/10/2000

The Prince and I Series:

Some relatively light-hearted P/K in which Tom and Harry struggle to work out their feelings for each other in the face of a StarFleet which (as far as any of us viewers can see) doesn't have any gay people, anywhere. Currently unfinished.

The Conversation (not really related to the other 2) (R)
   I Have Dreamed (Part 2, NC-17)
A Kiss In The Shadows (Part 3, R so far)

Site FAQ

What happened to your slash stories about Tom Paris, Data, and Seven of Nine?

They're gone, gone, gone. Slowly but surely being eradicated off the Internet where-ever I can find them. Why? Well, because I was in a VERY different place in my life when I wrote them, and they no longer give me any pleasure to read them and think about the characters in that way. Also, every day that passes, the stories get staler and staler. I'm glad so many people liked them, but now that I'm getting to know a lot of people off fan forums and things like that, I just don't want those stories associated with my work any more.

If you have them archived on your site (and you shouldn't), please be courteous and take them off. Thank you.

I read your "Personal Wars" ST: VOY series and I notice it never got finished. Do you ever plan to write parts 4 and 5?

No. My Voyager muse up and died in early 2000 and never got revived. I have no intention of writing anything more for the Star Trek: Voyager fandom ever again. However, you're more than welcome to pick up where I left off!

I have a fantastic web site/ fic/ fan art piece I think you should add to your links. Where should I send it?

Coolness!! Send it to misswyndy@[...] and I'll include it right away!

What's so great about Hoshi?

What's not to like? She's classically beautiful, witty, personable, complex, honest, and brilliant. And... and... just LOOK AT HER! She's just terrific all around. Linda Park is one of the finest female TV actors, and she's gorgeous. And Hoshi is just a fun, quirky character. Appreciate Hoshi today.

Whitney's a jerk! Why do you like him so much?

I think Eric Johnson is a tremendously talented man. He's taken a very inconsistently written character and made him sympathetic and complex. He could have been the one-dimensional hostile stupid jock, but instead he's built a portrait of an incredibly insecure, angry, and uncertain young man trying to find his place in the world against an undefeatable rivalry with the boy who would be Superman, of all people. Whitney would be very hard to like if he were a real person, but has a lot of potential as a three-dimensional character.

Plus Eric Johnson is freaking adorable, in case you haven't noticed.

I've noticed you run like half a dozen fan sites. Don't you have a life?

I have way too much of a life, and this is the way I spend my downtime-- mindless escapism. Problem???

Slash is really sick and you write some f'ed up stuff. Aren't you worried you'll rot in hell for all eternity?

Is this really how you spend your free time-- trolling fan sites and bitching at their owners? I suggest getting yourself a better hobby. Like, yesterday. Seriously.

Aren't you a woman? What is your deal with pretty boys kissing?

Mmmm pretty boys kissing. Yes, I am indeed a woman. I will plagiarize my friend queenofalostart and say that I like men, only I mean that in the truly plural sense of the word. It's the same turn on that straight men have about two women kissing. Then again, I have that turn-on too. I guess I just enjoy depictions of sexuality in any form, as long as all parties are willing, consensual, and of age.

Are you into any fandoms that aren't listed here? And if so, why aren't they?

Yes. I'm into Animorphs, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Xena: Warrior Princess, Star Trek: The Original Series, Roswell, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Justice League, The Avengers, The Fantastic Four, Batman, Oz, Sex and the City, Eastenders, Ultraviolet, the British Queer as Folk, and Boston Public. I read fanfic and look at fan art in all these genres.

I may add these fandoms to this site eventually, but mostly I've just included fandoms that inspired me enough to create something for them. I'm working on an Oz fic right now, so that one's probably next. I've also got a Roswell/ Deep Space Nine fic epic that's complete, but nobody will ever see it because it sucks donkey ass. Yeah, I know, I'm such a tease.[2]
